One old adage “cub reporters” learned in pre-digital newsrooms and in college “J-schools” was that “dog bites man” isn’t newsworthy, but that “man bites dog” is. Fast forward to an unspecified location in Greece recently and the news headline is “dog bites car” – repeatedly – accompanied by incriminating photographs.
According to one social media user, a pet dog in his neighborhood recently “took offense” with his parked car and chewed off a sizable chunk of the materials around the front left tire.
The same user stated that the dog’s owner has agreed to cover the damages to the vehicle.
The comments under the video, as expected, were numerous, with some reactions citing the dog’s alleged aggressive behavior and others questioning the materials used to produce modern cars.
