Monday will bring predominantly sunny skies across Greece, with only a few clouds expected over the Cyclades, Dodecanese, and the northern and mountainous areas of Crete. The day will be characterized by intense heat in the west and eastern Aegean islands, combined with strong northerly winds in parts of the Aegean Sea.

Temperatures will climb to some of the highest levels of the season. Northern Greece will range from 23°C to 38°C (16°C to 34°C in Western Macedonia). Central and Southern Greece will see 25°C to 35°C, with Thessaly peaking at 38°C. Western Greece will be the hottest, reaching 41°C. The Cyclades and Crete will remain cooler at 24°C to 31°C, while the Eastern Aegean Islands will reach up to 40°C. The Dodecanese will range from 21°C to 37°C.

In the Aegean Sea, winds from the north will blow at 4–5 Beaufort, strengthening to 6 Beaufort in the central and southern Aegean and briefly reaching near-gale force 7 Beaufort before midday, with gusts up to 80–90 km/h. This may lead to rough seas and possible ferry delays. In the Ionian Sea, winds will start light from the east, becoming moderate (4–5 Beaufort) in the south, and turning northwesterly in the north and central Ionian by afternoon.

In Athens, expect sunny skies and temperatures between 27°C and 35°C, slightly cooler by 2–3 degrees in the northern and eastern suburbs. Northerly winds will range from moderate to strong (4–5 Beaufort), reaching near-gale force in the east during the morning before easing later in the day.

Thessaloniki will also enjoy clear skies, with temperatures from 26°C to 37°C and light, variable winds in the Thermaic Gulf.

For travelers, Monday promises excellent conditions for sightseeing and beach outings in most areas, but those planning ferry crossings in the central or southern Aegean should prepare for strong winds and possible travel disruptions.
