Greek authorities have opened an investigation after a disturbing video surfaced online showing a teenager pushing a homeless man into a fountain. The footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms, prompted an immediate response from the country’s justice system.

According to officials, the incident took place on the island of Rhodes. In the video, the homeless man is seen sitting quietly at the edge of a fountain, apparently collecting money to buy food. Without warning, a young man approaches and forcefully shoves him into the water. The act appears to have been filmed and shared for amusement.
No one in the vicinity intervenes or helps the victim, a fact that has drawn additional public condemnation.
Following a prosecutor’s order, the Rhodes Subdivision for Crime Investigation is actively searching for the individual involved. Early reports suggest the suspect is a Greek national, not a tourist, contradicting initial speculation.
