Ferry service from the ports of Attica is gradually being restored, following an improvement in the weather conditions that caused major problems and disruptions to passenger travel in recent days.
Ships are now departing normally from the port of Piraeus, and the Argosaronic routes are fully operating with both conventional passenger-vehicle ferries and high-speed vessels.
At the ports of Rafina and Lavrio, service is expected to resume in the afternoon. The first departure from Rafina is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. and from Lavrio for 5:30 p.m.
Although conditions have returned to normal, passengers traveling today are advised to contact their local port authorities and travel agencies before heading to the ports, in order to stay informed about any possible changes to the departure schedule.
