Rhodes Man Arrested for Possession and Sale of Cocaine

The case was solved as part of special operational actions carried out by police services in the South Aegean aimed at combating the spread of narcotics.

A 29-year-old man was brought before a local prosecutor on the island of Rhodes after police had charged him with possessing and distributing narcotic substances.

Law enforcement officers from the Rhodes Department of the Sub-directorate for the Prosecution and Detection of Crimes had arrested the accused on Wednesday, February 18th.

According to the police report, the suspect was reportedly in possession of cocaine, which he sold to three individuals using his private vehicle.

Following a search, police found and confiscated 103 grams of cocaine, 210 euros in cash, two precision scales and a security camera.

Two more suspects believed to be involved in the case were included in the court file.
