Three men have been arrested after attacking healthcare workers at a public health center in eastern Attica before causing damage at a local police station, Greek authorities said.
The incident took place at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday at the Spata Health Centre, where the three suspects, aged 34, 29 and 20, had reportedly gone on a personal matter.
According to police, the men assaulted nursing staff inside the facility, prompting officers to respond and arrest them at the scene.
Authorities said the incident did not end with the arrests. After being taken to the local police station, the suspects continued their disruptive behavior, damaging the holding cells.
The three men are expected to appear before a prosecutor and face charges including disruption of a public service, making threats, verbal abuse, violence against public officials and causing property damage.
