A woman in Nea Ionia, a suburb of Athens, was the victim of a violent daytime robbery carried out by a group of five youths, four of whom are minors. The incident occurred on a central street in full view of numerous bystanders.

According to reports, the attackers approached the woman aggressively as she was walking. They forcibly ripped a gold chain from her neck, using physical violence that left her with minor injuries. After stealing the chain, the group fled the scene on foot.

The victim immediately alerted the police and filed a report. Law enforcement launched a swift search in the surrounding area and quickly located and apprehended the suspects.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the same group is believed to be responsible for at least three similar robberies, all following the same pattern of approach and assault. A case file has been prepared, and the suspects were brought before the public prosecutor.
