Jet2Weddings, the destination wedding division of British travel group Jet2holidays, has announced that it will add the Greek island of Santorini to its overseas wedding portfolio for the 2027 season.
The expansion is being carried out in partnership with Perfect Weddings Abroad and introduces seven new destinations across Greece, Italy, Portugal, Malta, Turkey and Spain’s Canary Islands, further strengthening the company’s presence in the Mediterranean.
Jet2Weddings said Santorini was selected for its dramatic caldera views, whitewashed cliffside villages and distinctive blue-domed churches, describing the island as one of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after wedding destinations for couples planning ceremonies abroad.
The company said the island’s scenery alone has made it a perennial favorite for destination weddings.

Beyond Santorini, the 2027 portfolio includes Malta, Sorrento, Portugal’s Algarve, Lanzarote and the Turkish resort regions of Dalaman and Antalya. The packages range from beachfront ceremonies and cliffside venues to luxury resorts and more intimate settings.
To mark the launch of the expanded program, Jet2Weddings is offering a promotional discount to couples booking its Ultimate Wedding package by July 31 for travel through November 2028.
Santorini remains one of Greece’s flagship tourism destinations despite challenges posed by seismic activity earlier this year, with visitor demand proving resilient and the island continuing to attract high-spending travelers from key international markets. The island has consistently ranked among the world’s premier holiday destinations in international travel surveys and readers’ awards, while its luxury hospitality sector has maintained strong occupancy and booking levels.
Travel publications have repeatedly praised Santorini for its volcanic landscape, sunsets, gastronomy and upscale accommodations, reinforcing its status as a benchmark destination for romance, honeymoons and destination weddings. Tourism officials have also emphasized efforts to promote sustainable, higher-value tourism while managing visitor flows during the peak summer season.
