The UK’s Princess Anne is expected to visit Greece from May 22 to May 24, 2026, accompanied by her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, for ceremonies marking the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Crete.
According to local media reports and commemorative event schedules, the visit will begin in Athens with engagements connected to the maritime charity Mission to Seafarers before continuing to Crete for memorial events in Chania and Souda Bay honoring Allied personnel killed during the 1941 battle.
The program reportedly includes services at the RAF Memorial in Maleme and the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Souda, alongside commemorative receptions, military honors and Red Arrows flyovers.
No full public itinerary or formal confirmation has yet been issued by Buckingham Palace, and major international outlets have not yet extensively reported the visit.
