Christmas Theater Unveils a Star-Studded 2026–2027 Season

A season blending music, dance and theatre — from Brian Cox's live lecture to Paris Opera étoiles and Momix's dreamlike "Alice."

Christmas Theater is back for the 2026–2027 season with a program designed to bring together different art forms, generations and expectations under one roof. Grand musical productions, world-class artists, international collaborations, theatre, dance, and shows for children and families all feature alongside spectacles demanding the most ambitious staging, forming this year’s eclectic artistic mosaic.

Among the season’s international highlights, renowned physicist and professor Brian Cox will take the Christmas Theater stage, giving Greek audiences a chance to see one of the world’s most engaging scientific minds in a live lecture.

The venue will then host the K-Pop Superstars, a dazzling show blending dance and beloved K-Pop hits that has already thrilled audiences across more than 100 performances throughout the United Kingdom.

Also gracing the stage will be the sumptuous “Gala Ballet des Étoiles de l’Opéra de Paris,” bringing Athens the leading étoiles of the Paris Opera Ballet, including Paul Marque, Sae Eun Park, Bleuenn Battistoni, Luciana Sagioro, Théo Ghilbert, Victoire Anquetil, Aurélien Gay, Mathieu Contat and Nine Seropian.

Also featured is the dance-and-music spectacular “Love on the Silk Road,” drawn from a genuine Chinese national treasure. Through dance, it evokes the spirit of the ancient Silk Road, reminding audiences that cultures thrive not in isolation, but through dialogue and exchange.

Just before the year draws to a close, the legendary Momix — the celebrated “wizards of dance” return with “Alice,” choreographed by Moses Pendleton and inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

The season also carves out special space for the musical “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” a spectacular family-friendly production, followed by global blockbusters such as “Snow White on Ice,” featuring world-renowned figure-skating virtuosos.
