Greece’s Wineries Open Their Doors Celebrating Wine Tourism

On Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., visitors will be invited to explore Greece’s renowned Wine Routes and take part in a rich program of activities celebrating wine and wine tourism.

Wine lovers across Greece will have the opportunity to embark on a unique wine and gastronomic journey through the country’s celebrated vineyards and wineries during the annual spring event, “Open Doors.”

Organized collectively by Greece’s regional wine producers’ associations, the event will take place at participating wineries throughout the country. On Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., visitors will be invited to explore Greece’s renowned Wine Routes and take part in a rich program of activities celebrating wine and wine tourism.

The two-day event will feature guided winery tours, wine tastings, competitions with gifts, and a variety of special surprises designed to introduce visitors to the culture and craftsmanship behind Greek wine. Admission to all participating wineries will be free throughout the weekend.
