As reported, Mitsotakis is expected to announce his choice of candidate for the country’s upcoming presidential elections.
The prime minister’s scheduled meeting with the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, which was to take place on Wednesday, Jan. 15 has been postponed for the coming days.
Exports to Germany—the leading market for the iconic Greek cheese—fell from 19.1 million euros to 17.2 million euros. The UK also saw a marked decline, with export values dropping by 9.9% and 7.5% respectively.
