Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized the importance of political stability as a “national advantage” during a speech at a New Democracy party event in Athens. The occasion marked the ceremonial cake-cutting for the party’s Organizational Sector.

Speaking ahead of an election year, Mitsotakis highlighted that the decisions made in the coming months will define Greece’s trajectory in the uncertain years ahead. He described political stability as a “springboard for progress” and warned that a change in government could lead to the wrong leadership for the country.

Addressing the opposition, he criticized them for promoting what he called “falsehoods and fearmongering,” portraying them as inconsistent and unreliable. “We are a capable government, and we make mistakes,” Mitsotakis acknowledged, stressing that alternative options could jeopardize the nation’s progress.
