The Greek foreign minister, George Gerapetritis, and the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, held talks for 50 minutes, with the former subsequently announcing that the 6th round of the Greece–US Strategic Dialogue to take place in Athens this year
According to information available, discussions between Gerapetritis and Rubio will also cover Euro-Atlantic relations, broader international developments, energy cooperation, and Greece’s presence in Gaza.
The Greek minister stated his presentation was warmly received by a significant audience of member states of the United Nations General Assembly, UN officials, as well as representatives of the Council of Europe.
