Authorities have raised the alarm over the disappearance of 55-year-old Vasiliki Gkagka from the Sitia area of Lasithi, Crete.
She was last seen on June 26. At her family’s request, and citing concerns for her safety, the child protection organization “Smile of the Child” (Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού) issued a public Missing Alert on July 9, sharing her details in hopes of locating her.
Gkagka is described as about 1.50 meters tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and dark eyes. She is currently wearing a cast on her right leg.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Smile of the Child, available 24 hours a day, the National Line for Missing Adults at 1017, their local police station, or through the Missing Alert app, which provides live updates on the case.
