The getaway vehicle used by the armed gang that robbed a bank branch in Kato Tithorea has been located in the area of Zemeno, Boeotia, following a search by authorities.

The car was found intact and unburned. It has already been transferred to forensic laboratories, where it will be examined for fingerprints and DNA that could help identify the perpetrators.

How the Robbery Unfolded

According to local outlet Lamianow, three armed men stormed the bank branch shortly before 10:00 a.m., armed with Kalashnikov-style assault rifles. Under threat of weapons, the robbers forced everyone inside the building to the ground and made off with an as-yet-undisclosed sum of money.

During their escape, an unexpected incident occurred: part of the cash fell to the ground outside the bank entrance. The robbers briefly stopped to collect the scattered bills before getting into their vehicle and fleeing the scene.

The suspects then sped off in the direction of the Velitsa area of Parnassus.
