Applications are now open for a new “Special Employment Program for 1,000 Unemployed Graduates of Higher Education Institutions (university and technological education), Aged 25-54, at the Public Employment Service (DYPA).”
Program Goal
The program aims to directly address unemployment among registered university graduates listed in DYPA’s Digital Registry of Unemployed Persons. It’s open to unemployed graduates of Higher Education Institutions, both university-level and technological-education-level, aged 25 to 54, who are registered in DYPA’s Digital Registry and have a completed Digital Individual Action Plan.
Those selected will work at DYPA itself for a 12-month period. Gross monthly pay is set at 1,250 euros for university-education graduates and 1,200 euros for technological-education graduates.
The application deadline is Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Applicants submit a single application, choosing one education category (university or technological), one specialty, and one placement office.
Ranking Criteria
Candidates are ranked using the following criteria:
- length of continuous registered unemployment, capped at 18 months
- number of minor children, capped at 5
- having a minor child with a disability
- more than 12 months of professional experience
- completion of a certified training program, capped at one program
- holding a postgraduate degree, regardless of field
- a structured individual interview
The selection system works by scoring these criteria, determining which supporting documents applicants must submit, setting up a process to verify those documents, and then using software to score, rank, and place candidates into matching positions.
