A tragic family incident unfolded early Monday morning in Nea Peramos, Greece, where a 47-year-old man was found dead, reportedly killed by his 44-year-old brother in a domestic dispute.
The incident came to light when the couple’s eldest brother, 48, discovered the victim deceased and the alleged perpetrator injured inside their home. He immediately contacted authorities, and police and emergency services arrived at the scene, beginning an extensive investigation.
According to local reports, violent arguments between the two brothers were frequent and often escalated due to excessive alcohol consumption. Neighbors recalled previous incidents where knives had been drawn during disputes, and on several occasions, the two younger brothers even chased their eldest sibling, who worked as a delivery employee and provided financial support to the family.
One neighbor revealed that the victim had previously voiced concern for his safety and had temporarily stayed elsewhere, warning, “If I stay there, I will kill my brother.” The ongoing tension between the siblings highlights a history of domestic conflict that tragically ended in murder.
The 44-year-old brother is believed to be the main suspect in the killing and remains hospitalized following the incident. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case.
