Μake us preferred on Google Police in Rhodes arrested a 24-year-old man on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, on suspicion of drug trafficking, according to an official police statement.
The arrest was carried out by officers from the Rhodes Narcotics Enforcement Department as part of an investigation into a drug-related case. The operation took place during the afternoon as part of a targeted police action.
Drugs and cash seized
During a targeted search of the 24-year-old’s home, officers found and seized:
- 1 kilogram and 74 grams of cannabis
- 16.6 grams of cocaine
- Two precision electronic scales
- €14,900 in cash
- £100 in British currency
- One mobile phone
Police also seized a motorcycle that, according to authorities, was used by the suspect.
Authorities filed a case against the 24-year-old on charges of drug trafficking. He is expected to be brought before the Rhodes Prosecutor’s Office.
