A driver in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, was surprised to find a snake inside his car engine after noticing something unusual while trying to start his vehicle.
The incident took place in eastern Thessaloniki, at the intersection of Papanastasiou, Kanari and Botsari streets, where the driver stopped to investigate the problem.

After opening the hood, he discovered a snake measuring around one metre had made its way into the engine area of the vehicle.
The reptile was removed using a special tool and was later released back into the wild.
According to reports, the snake was likely a laffyatis (four-lined snake), a non-venomous species commonly found in Greece.
