Greece’s men’s national water polo team secured a place in the final four of the World Cup Super Final after beating Montenegro 14–13 in their quarterfinal clash in Sydney on Thursday, July 23.
The Greek side will now turn its attention to a semifinal showdown with Italy, marking the fourth meeting between the two teams in 2026. Greece will be aiming for a victory that would send them through to the tournament’s grand final, as they achieved in 2025.
