Greek forward Vangelis Pavlidis is sitting in the second spot among Europe’s top scorers with 22 goals in 19 appearances for his club in the Netherlands AZ Alkmaar after the international forward found the back of the net again in the away game in the Dutch first division league against Heerenveen (2-2).

The 25-year-old, whose market value has skyrocketed to €25 million, according to online site Tranfermarkt is experiencing the most prolific-scoring season of his career, leading Alkmaar to 4th spot in the domestic Eredivisie table.

His form has reportedly caught the eye of many clubs across the continent with a move to one of the top five European leagues seeming all but certain.
