The countdown to the Spetses Mini Marathon officially began at the iconic Bouboulina Museum, as registrations opened for Greece’s premier multi-sport event, set to take place on the island of Spetses from October 2 to 4.
This year’s program features a variety of running and swimming races across multiple distances, with the island’s signature round-the-island race once again taking center stage. The spectacular route, renowned for its breathtaking scenery, remains one of the event’s most celebrated highlights.
The 2026 edition carries special significance as the Spetses Mini Marathon marks its 15th anniversary. Organizers have promised a series of special activities and surprises to celebrate the milestone.
At the same time, the event continues its strong social contribution through its support of “Orama Elpidas” (Vision of Hope), encouraging participants to register as volunteer bone marrow donors.
Since its launch in 2011, the Spetses Mini Marathon has grown into the largest multi-sport event in Greece, attracting thousands of participants from around the world each year and establishing itself as a fixture on the international sports calendar.
