The stretch from Aspropyrgos to Fyli Avenue toward Athens International Airport will reopen two days earlier than planned, after heavy maintenance works were completed faster than expected

Traffic toward Athens International Airport will be disrupted along an 8 km stretch due to major maintenance works, with several entrances closed and alternative routes advised by traffic authorities

Major streets in central Athens will be closed from 08:00 to 13:30 for the 11th Lycabettus Run, with temporary bans on traffic, stopping, and parking along the race route.

Temporary right-lane closures on one of Athens’ busiest highways will affect traffic toward Lamia and Piraeus on Jan. 19, 20 and 23, as authorities carry out scheduled roadworks

The hole, covering an area of approximately five square meters but with considerable depth, opened abruptly and reportedly “swallowed” a street lighting pole.

The Hellenic Police is launching traffic restrictions from Nov. 15–18, with major streets closing and parking bans in place as they enforce security measures for the 52nd Polytechnic uprising commemoration

Vehicle access will be prohibited from Saturday, September 20, at 8:00 pm, until Sunday, September 21, at 11:00 pm on key central streets.

According to the measures, both traffic flow and parking will be suspended on several streets from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

On March 25, Athens will host the grand military parade.
