A shortage of zinc has disrupted the production of vehicle license plates across Greece, leaving thousands of new car owners unable to register and drive their vehicles despite full payment or financing agreements

License plates and driving licenses will not be returned in cases involving antisocial parking violations, such as parking on ramps for people with disabilities.

Cases involving court orders will also be excluded from this measure.
