A routine moment inside a shawarma restaurant in Egypt turned into chaos when a giant doner kebab unexpectedly came loose from its vertical spit, creating panic among workers and customers.
The meat, which had been prepared in an unusually large portion, had initially drawn attention for its size as it slowly cooked on the rotating skewer. However, during the cutting process, the heavy structure suddenly detached and began to tilt dangerously toward the counter area.
For a few seconds, confusion spread inside the shop as employees reacted to prevent what could have been a serious accident. There were fears both of possible injuries and of the large quantity of meat being lost in the process.
Fortunately, staff members managed to respond quickly, preventing the situation from escalating. No one was injured, and the incident was brought under control within moments.
