The pop star spent three days on the Greek island, visiting the Cave of the Apocalypse and a historic monastery, and told a local official that she had “loved” Patmos and planned to return soon

Madonna spent three days on the Greek island of Patmos, visiting the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse and a historic monastery during her latest stop in Greece.

The pop star arrived on the island in complete secrecy on Monday, Aug. 17, after previously visiting Corfu and Meteora. According to an exclusive report by Real Voice, she traveled by helicopter, while two additional helicopters carried her entourage and numerous pieces of luggage.

Dressed in white and wearing a hat, Madonna was welcomed at the island’s helipad by Nikos Antonopoulos, the deputy mayor responsible for tourism, education and civil protection, representing Patmos Mayor Nikitas Tsampalakis.

She stayed at a luxury property in Skala, Patmos. It was her first visit to the island, and she was reportedly impressed by its natural beauty, religious atmosphere and the hospitality of its residents.

Visit to the Cave of the Apocalypse

During her stay, Madonna visited the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse, a religious site associated with the Book of Revelation, as well as a historic monastery, according to statements by her agent.

The municipality presented her with an album containing historical and photographic material about Patmos, along with 2027 calendars.

When Antonopoulos asked whether she had enjoyed her visit, Madonna said she had not only been enchanted by the island but had “loved” Patmos and promised to return soon.

As she departed, she thanked the deputy mayor for the gifts and said she would display them prominently.

Three helicopters for the trip

Three helicopters flew from Athens to collect Madonna and her group for the trip to Patmos. They departed from the municipal helipad at approximately 6:40 p.m.

Madonna appeared to be in particularly good spirits during her stay. She wore white clothing, a dark blue hat and sunglasses.

She also promised to share photographs from her Patmos vacation in the following days.
