The Museum of Cycladic Art will host a special after-hours event on June 4th 2026, inviting visitors to explore its current exhibition, Jeff Koons: “Venus” Lespugue, while enjoying a program of live music performances and a DJ set at the Stathatos Mansion.
Running from 19:00 to midnight, Cycladic Late Night will combine contemporary music with visual art, creating an immersive experience inspired by the themes explored in the exhibition. Visitors will have extended access to the exhibition throughout the evening, with performances taking place across the museum’s spaces.
The event brings together artists whose work engages with ideas surrounding the female form, fertility, and the symbolic power of the human body. Through sound, performance, and experimentation, the program reflects on questions raised by the exhibition, which examines how representations of Venus have evolved over more than 40,000 years.

Cycladic Late Night is organized in conjunction with Jeff Koons: “Venus” Lespugue, an exhibition that brings prehistoric and contemporary sculpture into dialogue through the presentation of Koons’ Balloon Venus Lespugue (Orange) alongside Paleolithic Venus figures. Rather than offering a conventional historical survey, the exhibition explores the enduring symbolism of the human body and the ways artistic representations of fertility and femininity have persisted across millennia.
The event will take place at the Stathatos Mansion, with tickets priced at €10. Young Friends and Young Patrons of the museum will receive free admission with an online ticket. Access to exhibition and performance spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to venue capacity.
