Greek FM Visits Belgrade for Talks With Serbian Leaders

George Gerapetritis will meet Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić, President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Đuro Macut in a diplomatic visit to the Serbian capital.

Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is traveling to Belgrade on Friday for a round of high-level meetings with Serbian leadership, the Greek Foreign Ministry has announced.

Gerapetritis is scheduled to meet with his Serbian counterpart, Foreign Minister Marko Đurić, at 11:25 a.m. local time. The two officials are expected to hold a joint press statement at 12:10 p.m.

The Greek minister is also set to meet separately with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Đuro Macut during his visit to the Serbian capital.

The Greek Foreign Ministry provided no further details on the agenda of the discussions.

The Belgrade visit is the first stop of a wider Western Balkans tour. Gerapetritis is next scheduled to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro on June 19, with visits to Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo to be announced in the coming days.
