Emergency services and police rushed to the scene, but the 16-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries. The remaining passengers were transported to hospital for medical treatment.

Investigation into the causes

Initial speculation suggested that the driver may have lost control while attempting to avoid a wild animal, possibly a bear reportedly seen in the area. However, police later firmly dismissed this scenario after their investigation.

Authorities confirmed that there is currently no evidence linking the crash to the presence of wildlife at the scene.
