A former contestant on the reality television show Survivor has been arrested in Greece after being accused of assaulting a 14-year-old boy during an incident linked to an alleged theft.
According to the case file, the minor claims he was struck in the head and sustained serious injuries after an encounter with the former television personality. The teenager further alleges that the man used a set of keys as a makeshift weapon and briefly confined him in the trunk area of a vehicle.
The case stems from a reported theft involving a business owned by the accused. Authorities say the 14-year-old and another individual are also under investigation over allegations that items were taken from the business premises. Following the reported theft, the businessman allegedly pursued the suspects in his vehicle.
According to the official complaint, the teenager was injured during the pursuit and was later transported to hospital, where he received medical treatment. Through his lawyer, the boy alleges he was subjected to a violent assault that resulted in two serious head wounds requiring more than 10 stitches.
The lawyer representing the minor described the alleged attack as extremely severe, claiming the boy was bleeding heavily and required ambulance transport to hospital. He also disputed allegations that his client was involved in theft, arguing that the claims were made to justify the alleged assault.
The former Survivor contestant has strongly denied the accusations. In his statement to authorities, he said two minors had previously stolen his mother’s handbag from his business and that another theft occurred the following day when an employee’s mobile phone was allegedly taken.
He stated that security camera footage showed a minor entering the shop and removing the phone before fleeing with others. According to his account, he followed the group, intercepted them and attempted to stop them. He claims the 14-year-old fell into a ditch while trying to escape and injured his head during the fall.
The accused said he found the employee’s phone near the teenager and transported him in his vehicle with the intention of taking him to a police station. He insists he never struck the boy and maintains that all injuries were caused by the fall.
The legal proceedings have been postponed, with further court action expected as investigators continue to examine the conflicting accounts presented by both sides.
