Starting July 1, shoppers in Greece and across the European Union will pay a new €3 import duty per product on low-value online purchases from countries outside the EU, including China and the United States

As announced by the CEO of IRIS, transaction limits for this service will double as of Jan. 15. Individuals will be able to transfer up to 1,000 euros per day.

No region in Greece outstripped the EU average, with Attica recording the highest percentage of online shoppers aged 16–74 at 54.1%.
