A noteworthy portion of Ukraine's current exports is facilitated by Greek-owned fleets, comprising 37.24% of total ships departing from Ukrainian ports and carrying 53.11% of the country's exported goods

Decision was made by Ukraine's High anti-corruption court following accusations that Savvidis serves the Russian military-industrial complex

The agreement comes after weeks of negotiations with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban who had vetoed the aid package to Ukraine in December.

Despite Hungary's opposition, the decision on candidate status was unanimously approved by 26 EU member states

Orban also expressed a favorable view towards Georgia, stating, "Georgia is fine. Everyone loves you."
