The popular Netflix series Emily in Paris is set to film new episodes in Mykonos between May 15 and May 25, according to reports, marking a major international production arrival on the famed Greek island.

Around 250 cast and crew members are expected to travel to the island—often called the “Island of the Winds”—with filming planned across well-known beaches and iconic narrow streets that define Mykonos’ landscape.

Filming locations and preparations

Reports suggest that scenes will be shot at Agios Sostis Beach, among other locations, though full details remain limited. Local businesses and concierge agencies have been preparing for the production for nearly two months, after receiving inquiries from the show’s production team about logistics and suitable filming spots.

The project has already created a surge in demand for accommodations during the filming period, with visitors advised to expect limited availability on the island.

Longstanding ties with the island

The connection between Mykonos and the show’s production dates back several years. One of the series’ producers, Stephen Joel Brown, frequently vacationed on the island, helping establish a relationship that has now led to filming plans.

Despite the scale of the project, the production team has maintained a low profile. All local professionals working with the crew have reportedly been required to sign confidentiality agreements, underscoring efforts to keep details of the upcoming episodes under wraps.
