Gazarte is set to celebrate jazz with the return of Jazz Week on the Roof, a week-long concert series that will transform its rooftop stage into a destination for live music in Athens from July 5 through July 11.
The event will bring together internationally acclaimed performers and leading Greek artists, showcasing the many styles and influences that define modern jazz. While each performance offers a distinct musical perspective, the lineup is united by a shared emphasis on artistic freedom, improvisation, and the energy of live performance.
Among the featured artists are Bilal, Ledisi, Veronica Swift, Petros Klampanis, The Swingin’ Cats, and the creative collaboration of Sotiris Ntouvas and Kostis Christodoulou. Together, they represent a broad spectrum of contemporary jazz and its musical subgenres.
Throughout the festival, Gazarte’s rooftop venue will provide an open-air setting beneath the Athenian sky, combining panoramic city views with high-quality sound for an immersive concert experience. The organizers describe the venue as one closely associated with some of the city’s most memorable live performances.
Running from July 5 to 11, Jazz Week on the Roof aims to offer audiences a series of distinctive summer evenings centered on one of the world’s most enduring musical genres.
