The Small Enterprises Institute of the General Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants of Greece (IME GSEVEE) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Association of Short-Term Rental Companies (Stama Greece), on January 22, 2025 with aim to promote collaboration on matters of mutual interest.

Nasos Gavalas, the President of Stama Greece, and George Kavvathas the President of GSEVEE and IME GSEVEE signed the memorandum at the offices of GSEVEE, on Tuesday.

The memorandum of cooperation focuses on ensuring regular and functional collaboration between the two parties in the design, preparation, implementation, and application of actions and synergies in areas of interest related to short-term rentals.

Particular emphasis will be placed on conducting studies, research, and processing data and information related to short-term rentals and their implications. Additionally, efforts will be made to develop materials to address the needs for information and ongoing professional training.

Following the meeting, the president of IME GSEVEE as the institutional representative of small and very small businesses highlighted its ongoing intentions to consistently support collaboration and synergies among businesses and sectors, focusing on knowledge dissemination and problem-solving.

“The memorandum of cooperation between IME GSEVEE and Stama is part of this framework,” he noted.

On his part, the president of Stama stated: “The signing of the memorandum of cooperation between Stama and GSEVEE marks a milestone in the collaboration between the two organizations.”

Thanking Kavvathas, and the staff of IME GSEVEE he expressed his commitment towards strengthening their contribution to local economies and entrepreneurship in Greece.
