Greek fashion group Intrafashion, best known for its brand Pink Woman, has announced the full acquisition of sportswear company BODYTALK A.E., taking over 100% of its shares. The move marks a significant step in Intrafashion’s strategic expansion into the activewear and casualwear market.

According to the company’s official statement, the acquisition aims to generate synergies and capitalize on the long-standing brand value and recognition of BODYTALK, a name with deep roots in the Greek athleisure industry.

Strengthening Presence in Activewear

Dimitris Matemtzis, President and CEO of Intrafashion Group, highlighted BODYTALK’s strong identity and market presence. “BODYTALK has a rich history, wide recognition, and unique characteristics that have made it a household name among consumers,” he said.

He noted that during a time of global restructuring in the sportswear market, Intrafashion is investing in the evolution of BODYTALK’s product range, branding, and communications. The group plans to leverage both BODYTALK’s experienced team and Intrafashion’s robust infrastructure.

“I’m confident that the synergies between the two organizations—focused on wholesale channels and partnerships with local and national sports retailers—will lead to increased market share and growth in key international markets,” Matemtzis added.

A New Chapter for BODYTALK

George Leoutsakos, founder of BODYTALK, described the brand as “a vision that evolved into a strong name in Greek activewear.” He recalled the company’s early role in shaping the athleisure trend in Greece and emphasized its dedication to innovation, authenticity, and core values.

“The trust of our customers and the commitment of our team made everything possible,” he said. “Joining the Intrafashion Group is a strategic, long-term move. With the group’s operational strength, we believe BODYTALK will further expand in Greece and abroad, while staying true to its identity.”
