The Municipality of Athens is once again offering eligible families the opportunity to enroll their children in the much-anticipated summer camps. Registration for elementary school students—children born between 2013 and 2018—will begin on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

The camps, organized by the Municipality’s Organization for Culture, Sports, and Youth (OPANDA) will take place at the Rouf, Goudi, and Gravas sports centers from June 16 to July 25.

This year, the Goudi Sports Center will also reopen its doors for the Special Needs Program during the first session. The program is part of OPANDA’s initiative, “One World, No One Alone,” dedicated to children enrolled in its Special Needs Programs.

“There is nothing more beautiful than seeing children laughing, playing, and learning together in a safe and caring environment. Through OPANDA’s summer camps, children can build relationships, gain experiences, create memories, and discover their talents,” said Athens Mayor, Haris Doukas.

The Program

Children attending the OPANDA summer camps will have the chance to try their skills in various Olympic sports included in the program, while also participating in creative activities designed to promote values such as teamwork, respect, and responsibility. These activities aim to boost children’s confidence, teach proper sportsmanship, and help them understand the fundamentals of athletic disciplines.

Participation Requirements

To participate, parents must create an account on the platform www.opandacamps.gr by selecting the “Register” option, which will be available starting Monday, May 19.

The online registration platform will officially open on Tuesday, May 20, at 10:00 a.m., and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date and time of valid application submission.
