Specifically, the couple would enter stores while their child distracted shop owners and customers. During that time, the parents stole mobile phones, bags, jewelry and other valuable items.
Police managed to arrest them in the act while they were attempting to steal from a jewelry store.
Although the couple denied the allegations, a search of their home uncovered all of the stolen items, confirming their involvement in the thefts.
The couple is now facing legal proceedings and is expected to appear before a prosecutor.
