Teenagers Hospitalized After Dual Attacks in Athens

Police investigate whether two assaults on minors in separate districts are linked, as unidentified attackers remain at large following violent incidents late at night

Two teenagers have been hospitalized following separate attacks in Athens, with authorities investigating whether the incidents are connected.

The assaults took place in the districts of Neos Kosmos and Pangrati on the same night, raising concerns over a possible coordinated act by the same group of perpetrators.

According to initial reports, the first attack occurred at around 10 p.m., when a group of at least ten individuals targeted four minors. A 15-year-old was injured during the assault and taken to hospital with a knife wound.

Shortly afterward, a second incident was reported in Pangrati, where a 14-year-old was attacked and sustained lighter injuries to the head and ribs.

Police are examining similarities in the attackers’ approach and the sequence of events, which suggest the same group may be responsible for both incidents. The suspects remain unidentified and at large.
