Greek authorities aim to crackdown on unlicensed investment advisors, tighten oversight of crypto and use AI and mystery shoppers to protect investors.
The new regulations is incorporated in the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA)
The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis addressed his cabinet earlier on Friday morning, during which he focused on his government’s attempts to regulate cryptocurrency.
