A woman swimming near the Rio–Antirrio crossing was pulled away from shore by strong currents before ferry crew members intervened and brought her safely back to land

The traffic police have imposed a ban on the circulation of motorcycles, caravans, and empty high-sided trucks on the Rio–Antirrio Bridge due to hazardous wind conditions.

Authorities have also banned the crossing of the Rio-Antirrio Bridge "Charilaos Trikoupis" for motorcycles and trucks without a load for safety reasons
