Over 30 collaborating galleries are offering free entry into their exhibitions on the last weekend of ThisIsAthens City Festival

As one of the city’s largest cultural events calendar reaches its final days, select art galleries are offering free entry before ThisIsAthens City festival wraps up.

Organizers invite anyone who’s in the Greek capital this week to “make the most of your final festival days and discover a different side of Athens through art, photography and culture around every corner.”.

It is advised you contact any individual museum you’re interested in visiting prior and check their opening hours and free entry days.

Which galleries are participating?

  • Municipal Gallery of Athens
    Nikolas Klironomos: A Retrospective (1985–2025)
    Also showing: Giorgos Tserionis: AFTER. Excellent if you want a substantial museum-scale contemporary show. Open Fri–Sun.

  • Citronne Gallery Athens
    Panos Charalambous: COLUMBIA
    A standout sound-and-memory installation inspired by old Athens recording culture.
