Greek Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias met with his Italian counterpart Guido Crosetto at the Italian Ministry of Defense in Rome on Monday.
The meeting took place as part of Dendias’s participation in the 2nd Greece–Italy High-Level Cooperation Council in the Italian capital, where Prime Minister Mitsotakis met with his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni.
In a post on X, Minister Dendias stated that the discussion focused on strengthening bilateral defense cooperation between Greece and Italy, with particular emphasis on defense innovation and industry, through collaboration between the two countries’ defense ecosystems. He also noted that they exchanged views on regional and international defense and security issues.
