An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale was reported on Sunday morning off the coast of the Greek island of Samos in the eastern Aegean Sea. The island is only a short while away from the western coast of Tukey.

So far, there have been no reports of damage or injuries. The epicenter of the tremor was located 16 kilometers northeast of Karlovasi, located on the northwest side of the island.

According to the revised data from the Geodynamic Institute (the measurement checked by a seismologist), the earthquake’s focal depth was 14.6 kilometers.
