Alter Ego Media has once again supported the Greece Race for the Cure, a major breast cancer awareness and prevention event held in central Athens.
The event, organized for the 18th consecutive year by “Alma Zois,” the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer, brought together thousands of participants with a message of prevention, awareness and support for women living with breast cancer.

This year’s event carried the message “No woman is alone,” with people of all ages, families and groups joining the campaign to raise awareness and show solidarity.
Thousands take part in Athens
The program included a 5-kilometer race and walk, as well as a symbolic 2-kilometer walk.
The streets of Athens filled with participants taking part either as runners or walkers, creating a festive atmosphere and highlighting the event’s growing role as a platform for breast cancer awareness.
Families and people of all ages participated, with the large turnout reinforcing the event’s message of solidarity and collective action in the fight against breast cancer.

Alter Ego Media marks fourth year of participation
Eleni Maragou, Alter Ego Media’s director of Human Resources, spoke about the significance of the company’s participation, emphasizing the importance of prevention, collective action and mutual support.
“Today is a very beautiful day. We have all gathered here, all the employees, for a great celebration. Prevention is our strength and we must know that none of us is alone. We are all in this together,” Maragou said.

Alter Ego Media has participated in the Greece Race for the Cure for the fourth consecutive year.
“It is the fourth consecutive year that Alter Ego Media participates in this great celebration. A celebration dedicated to prevention, hope and continuing the fight against every difficulty. The Greece Race for the Cure is a constant reminder that prevention is strength and that none of us is alone,” Maragou said.
The Greece Race for the Cure has become an important social awareness event, with public participation strengthening its message of solidarity each year.
