Traffic adjustments will be in effect tomorrow, Friday January 23, on Tram Line 6 due to urban regeneration works on Vasilissis Olgas Avenue in Athens.
Tram service changes
On Friday, tram services will operate only on the section:
“Pikrodafni – Fix – Pikrodafni.”
Specifically, the adjustments will apply from the start of service until 15:00, during which time the following stops will not be in operation:
- Vouliagmenis Avenue
- Zappeio
- Syntagma
Metro Line 2 disruptions
Passengers using fixed-rail transport are also reminded that traffic adjustments on Metro Line 2 have been in force since 11 January, due to ongoing works for rail replacement and the installation of a 5G network in the Athens Metro.
As announced by STASY, from Sunday to Thursday, the stations:
- Fix
- Neos Kosmos
- Agios Ioannis
will close at 21:40, approximately two and a half hours earlier than the usual end of service. Works on this section began on Sunday 11 January and will continue until 21 February.

“We inform you that on Friday 23/01, from the start of service until 15:00, on Tram Line 6 ‘Pikrodafni – Syntagma’, services will terminate at the ‘Fix’ stop and will operate on the section ‘Pikrodafni – Fix – Pikrodafni’, following a request by Anaplasi Dimosion Choron S.A. for the completion of works on Vasilissis Olgas Avenue. During this time, the stops ‘Vouliagmenis Ave.’, ‘Zappeio’ and ‘Syntagma’ will not be served.”
