An explosion, likely caused by a gas cylinder, was reported at the morgue of Serres General Hospital, located in the Serres regional unit in central Macedonia, triggering an emergency response.

According to initial reports, the blast took place during technical maintenance work and is believed to have originated from a cylinder in the hospital’s engine room.
