Winds will reach up to 5 Beaufort in the seas, while fog and limited visibility are likely in the mainland during the night and early morning hours.
Athens
The capital will experience partly cloudy skies, with a chance of light local showers until early afternoon. Winds from the north will blow at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temperatures will range between 15°C and 24°C.
Thessaloniki
In northern Greece, Thessaloniki will see thin cloud cover, gradually becoming denser through the day. Morning fog may limit visibility. Winds will remain light, at 2 to 3 Beaufort, while temperatures will vary between 13°C and 21–22°C.
Weather Across the Rest of the Country
Temperatures will range as follows:
- Western Macedonia: 3°C to 20°C
- Rest of Macedonia & Thrace: 5°C to 22–24°C
- Thessaly: 8°C to 22–23°C
- Epirus: 8°C to 21–23°C
- Central and Southern Mainland: 12°C to 23–25°C
- Ionian Islands: 14°C to 22–23°C
- Aegean Islands & Crete: 14°C to 23–25°C
According to meteo.gr, northeasterly winds of 4–5 Beaufort will prevail in the northern Aegean, while the rest of the Aegean will see northerly winds of similar strength. In the Ionian Sea, southerly to southeasterly winds are expected, also reaching 4–5 Beaufort.
Cooler Weather Ahead
The start of November brings a shift to more unsettled weather, with rain and a drop in temperatures beginning on Tuesday, according to forecasts by meteorologist Sakis Arnaoutoglou.
Light rain is expected early Sunday in the southwestern Ionian, spreading to the western mainland by nightfall. By Monday morning, scattered showers and local thunderstorms are likely over the northern Ionian and Epirus.
Conditions will remain unstable through Monday afternoon, affecting the Ionian Islands, Epirus, Aetolia-Acarnania, and northwestern Peloponnese.
By Tuesday, the weather will turn noticeably cooler, with rain moving into western and northern Greece, reaching Attica as well. Showers are forecast to continue on Wednesday, mainly in the eastern parts of the country.
Temperatures are expected to drop steadily throughout the week, with a further decline expected until November 11.
