An elderly woman was injured after being bitten by a pufferfish while swimming at a beach in the coastal area of Varkiza, near Athens.
According to reports, the fish attacked unexpectedly, causing a wound to the woman’s leg. She was taken for medical treatment and required stitches as a result of the injury.
